Erich Gerth
Chief Executive Officer, RBC BlueBay Asset Management
Responsible for leading RBC’s asset management business outside of North America. Executive Director RBC GAM UK Ltd Board, member of the Royal Bank of Canada Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) and RBC European Executive Committees.
RBC Global Asset Management is a provider of investment management services and solutions to institutional, high-net-worth and individual investors across multiple equity, fixed income and alternative investments. RBC GAM manages over US$400bn in assets for clients globally (as at 31/03/2023).
Prior to joining BlueBay in 2012, Erich was Chief Executive of APAC based in Singapore, Head of Global Business Development and member of the Executive Committee of London based Aviva Investors. Erich has over 35 years’ experience in financial services and over 20 years managing global teams, working across institutional and wholesale markets in both traditional and alternative asset classes. Erich has an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA (Asia Focus) from the National University of Singapore in addition to a BA with Honours from National Louis University.
