Our communities

BlueBay is committed to giving back to the community and has in place an established Charity Committee.

BlueBay partners with charities where we feel we can tangibly contribute from both a fund raising and volunteering perspective.

Pursuing Independent Paths (PiP)

PiP extends independence and choice to people with learning disabilities (from young adults to elderly). The charity provides individuals with support and help across a range of services, including accredited training and education, travel training, independent living skills, social and emotional development, employment skills and work placements, and support into mainstream education.

PiP’s main centre, in Kilburn W9, supports 60 individuals who visit the centre up to five days a week to learn and socialise. They have ambitions to double the size of the service to meet the extensive demand for their services and are looking for a corporate partner to both volunteer and help raise money to achieve their expansion plans.

BlueBay employees have the opportunity to volunteer at the centre and student related activities as well as helping to raise funds for expansion plans.

The Helen Bamber Foundation

The Helen Bamber Foundation supports refugees and asylum seekers who have experienced extreme human cruelty, such as torture and human trafficking. The charity provides specialist care to meet the complex needs of some of the most marginalised and vulnerable people in the world.

Our two fundraising initiatives for HBF are the Emergency Relief Grant and the BlueBay Education Scholarship Fund.

Emergency Relief Grant: Many of HBF’s clients have no family and nowhere to turn in times of crisis, which is why the financial support of our Emergency Relief Fund is so vital. Income fundraised by BlueBay Staff would support emergency circumstance similar to: emergency safe house, vital medication, etc.

BlueBay Education Scholarship Fund: Education is a vital part of HBF’s integration model. Accessing education can be difficult for an asylum seeker who is receiving only £37 a week to afford. The Helen Bamber Foundation would like to set up a BlueBay Asset Management Education Scholarship Fund for school fees for college, school supplies, etc.

Each Christmas, BlueBay staff work with Barnardo’s to purchase children’s gifts for children who use some of their London based centres. The project sees over 200 children across London receive new toys and gifts they might not have had the opportunity to receive previously.

BlueBay is also proud to actively participate in national charity days such as MacMillan coffee morning, Text Santa jumper day and Jeans for Genes.
